We were lucky enough to choose Aspiring Catering for our wedding & would highly recommend them to everyone! Right from the start they were prepared to cater to our budget, they seemed to go above & beyond getting it all to come together with only 2months notice. So we'll organized! And then the day.. lovely as staff & all our guests couldn't stop raving about how delicious the food was!! It was beyond awesome!! Thankyou guys very much! Highly recommend to anyone :)

We loved working with Megan, Lucy and Alizée and the team who helped bring our wedding to life. Not only did they design our menu, but also aligned all our other vendors up to ensure we had a smooth day. We found that on our wedding day we just focused on celebrating with family and friends and Aspiring Catering executed perfectly without any issues.

Communication was amazing with the planning process being a breeze providing great advice and answering any questions we had. The team was open to cooking external food that we bought and cooked them perfectly (high praise from fellow caterers). All our guests really enjoyed the pre-wedding Thai and Wedding day Indian inspired menu. We wholeheartedly would highly recommend Aspiring Catering!

We were so impressed with the level of service and professionalism from Aspiring Catering. From day one we felt at ease knowing that they had everything under control. They worked in well with our MC and were very organised - even creating a detailed run sheet for the day - which meant we didn't need to hire an event coordinator. The food itself was the star of the show, we had so many guests raving about the mains and the epic grazing board. Corey and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Aspiring Catering to anyone planning their dream wedding who want delicious, impressive gourmet food in Wanaka! 10/10

We cannot recommend Aspiring Catering enough! We used Aspiring Catering for our wedding in November and we (and our guests) were impressed with their professionalism and dedication. Right from our first contact with Aspiring Catering they were excellent to deal with. The communication from the whole team but particularly Lucy, Sarah and Megan was exceptional and they clearly set out the process which they followed which was very helpful when planning a wedding so we always knew what was happening. We could approach them at any time we had questions and they were more than happy to help! On our wedding day they really ran the whole event. Everything was set up as we had discussed and the whole day went to plan which was overseen by Aspiring Catering. They made the whole day seamless. The food was exceptional and exceeded our expectations and we have had lots of positive feedback from our guests.

We genuinely believe Aspiring Catering is the gold standard for catering in Central Otago. Having been lucky enough to have come across Lucy in the early days of Aspiring Catering when she catered a family event in Wanaka, booking Aspiring for our wedding in Wanaka and at Glendhu Station was an absolute no brainer.
From our first meeting to get an idea of what we wanted, through to the big day the team at Aspiring were an absolute delight to work with. From the calls with Lucy and Megan planning the menu and the timeline for the day, to a day executed with military precision by the wonderful Sarah – nothing was an issue for the team. We very much felt like we were part of the Aspiring family and were so well looked after. The team are and were absolute professionals and made sure every detail was accounted for on the day.
This is all before we get to the food. Being foodies and big on entertaining large crowds, a big focus for us was nailing the food for the reception and gee whiz did Aspiring deliver something special. Catering to a rather multicultural crowd, the food was top notch and there was something for everyone. Lucy is a bomb in the kitchen and her lamb is a must have. The full complement of food delivered on the day still has our guests talking about it long after the wedding. Our only regret was being so busy ourselves on the day that we didn’t fully get to savour it all!
If you’re looking for a caterer for any event in the Central Otago region, look no further. These guys are the bees’ knees and something more. We don’t know how you can top the service we got, and we are stoked to count them as mates going forward. Aspiring Catering did an amazing job for our wedding. They made the lead up to the wedding very easy for us and did a lot of work for the event planning. Lucy and the aspiring team were irreplaceable in helping us bring our wedding together to make it the absolutely phenomenal day that it was. With a very sick groom in the lead up and the possibility that we couldn’t go ahead, Lucy was so amazing and understanding of the difficulties. Everything on the day went to plan and the food and service were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was spectacular and our guests are still raving about it 3 months later. My brothers are still talking about how many lamb cutlets they devoured… into the double figures. Wish we could do it all again.
